Oberlin College Women’s Tennis to Host One-Day Campus Showdown

Oberlin College Head Tennis Coach Constantine Ananiadis has spearheaded an effort to bring a One-Day Campus Showdown to the Oberlin College John W. Heisman Field House on December 6, 2008. This is the first year these events will be held on college campuses around the country. The One-Day Campus Showdown is a new initiative pioneered by the USTA and the ITA to promote the game of tennis on college campuses and help perpetuate the growth of tennis in general. The event is a non-sanctioned – meaning it has no bearing on rankings of any sort and is open to all female players of all ages and abilities.
