Bob Love

Bob Love
Bob Love is a USPTA Master Professional and in 2007 was inducted into the USPTA-Midwest Division Hall of Fame and named the USPTA-Southern Division Pro of the Year. A member of the U. S. Professional Tennis Association since 1971, Bob was one of the first 18 USPTA professionals to be named a Master Professional in 1983 and chaired the USPTA Master Pro Selection Committee for six years.

A Michigan native, Bob has made over 100 presentations at coaching conferences from coast-to-coast and in Spain. He earned a masters degree in sport psychology from Michigan State University and has presented papers at several international conferences. He presently lives in Elizabethtown, Kentucky with his wife Jo Ann.


Guy Parks

Guy Parks
Guy Parks II has been the Director of Tennis at the Racquet Club of Columbus since 1998. During this period of time, The Racquet Club has been recognized as the leader in a “Games” approach to tennis instruction for the city of Columbus.

Guy has been awarded the highest rating of Master Professional from the United States Professional Tennis Association, one of the first eighty in the world to be so recognized and the only one in Columbus. He was the first Master Pro to have completed Levels I, II A, B, C of the USTA Sport Science Competencies. He has developed numerous nationally, sectional and district ranked players throughout the Midwest. He is a certified USTA/USPTA High Performance Coach being one of first 325 coaches in the nation to do so.

Guy has a Master’s Degree in Education with emphasis in Motor Learning from Ohio University. Parks has spoken at state, divisional, national USTA and USPTA sponsored workshops. Guy served as Chairman of the Delegates, member of Junior Competitive and Nominating Committees and as well as USTA Clinician for the Midwest Tennis Association. He is a Past President of the Ohio Valley District Tennis Association and was the initial Head Coach of the Columbus USTA Area Training Center for eight years. He is a Past President of USPTA Midwest Division.

Awards for Guy include being named USPTA Midwest Tester of the Year 2004, Faye Tooley Award and was inducted into the USPTA Midwest Hall of Fame August 2004 at the Western and Southern Master Series Championships in Mason, Ohio.
